Was a pleasure to come on Julian Vayne’s ‘My Magical Thing’ YouTube show and tell this story of meeting Sekhmet and reclaiming the archetypal power of the “dark feminine” in my young 20s.
Sekhmet’s (sometimes frightening) power and transformative chaos was a much needed initiation for me that brought me through addiction and into my sense of strength and purpose…
I reference this as the “dark feminine” but I am excited to find new language emerging that perhaps brings us out of the m/f binary (and undermines the historical light/dark white supremacist binary) that often surround these topics.
